I’ve been fortunate to learn from some of the largest and most established CPGs such as: General Mills, Pepsi Bottling Group, E&J Gallo Winery, Mattel, Church & Dwight, and Amazon. That said, my proudest accomplishments are the result of translating "big company" processes and systems and right-size them for smaller entities as they scaled for growth. As the General Manager at DELK and launching an Innovation Department at Basic American Foods, I helped create new revenue streams, aligned human capital for more efficient workflows, and reduced costs to drive profitable volume growth.
People tell me I'm really good at quickly understanding complex concepts, identifying and resolving problems, turning ideas into long-term strategies, and designing and implementing processes that optimize productivity to achieve desired results.
While I hold an MBA degree, I think my best learnings have come from coworkers, direct reports, and external partners who have allowed me to ask a ton of questions, “do the work” alongside of them, and jump in the deep end with them to “figure it out” together.
Call it contract work, call it micro projects or mini consults-- whatever the nomenclature is these days, at the heart of it, I like to Get Things Done and Make Things Go.
